About the Association

The N.S.S. unit gives the students an opportunity to develop the qualities of leadership and sense of social consciousness in them, Students are directed to different social institutions like homes for the blind, orphanages, general hospitals, etc., Or to the nearby slum-areas to mitigate the sufferings of the persons there. Camps are arranged in nearby villages.
The Students who complete 240 hours of social work are given a cetificate and are entitled to a maximum of 10 grace marks at the first attempt in the examinations, as laid down under 0.229 A.
